I use to think it was about the journey and the friends you made on the way to your destination. But it turns out the friends you make are just back-stabbing shits who couldn't care less about your well-being. Just makes me want to skip straight to the destination.
I used to think that people who whine about a few disappointments in their lives, no matter how severe, were useless, spineless little girls that couldn't deal with problems and learn to overcome them. I still do. A self-fulfilling prophecy always turns out to be true: if you believe you're a useless sack of shit, then you probably won't ever prove yourself wrong, because whether you realize it or not, the decisions you make toward a particular goal make all the difference, and with the "end in mind" of fucking up, that's all you'll ever do.
