So the doctors think so or are completely certain? Have tests been completed? Do the results show a cancer or is this a bleak estimate based on outside circumstances?
You certainly need more information before you begin to grieve, medical professionals are not prone to perfection and preciseness.
All the best in the long run, I trust your brother will acquire the required family support, commitment and devotion.
