Sinus infections hurt like hell. It's a very distinct feeling. Picture sever congestion/pain, that feels like it's directly behind your nose/eyes, inside, making it feel like you're head is going to explode.
A headache is just... a headache. Can be any variety of feeling depending on the person.
By the way... sinus HEADACHE and sinus INFECTION are completely different. Infection is much more serious and uncomfortable.
