So I just got my first kitten yesterday and he's really playful, but for some reason he like to smack my hand around and bite it, is that normal? Also how do I get him to sleep in his own bed? Lastnight he slept beside me which I don't mind but he's so tiny im scared id crush him.
Help?

Put a clock into the bed with him, the ticking feels/sounds like a heartbeat and should help soothe him.
And yeah, that seems to be normal behaviour for cats. You might want to curb that, though, it could get to be a really bad habit when he's older.

It's normal. You could also put a hot water bottle, with not scalding hot water, in a jumper and put it beside them on their bed to simulate their mothers feel.

the playing is normal, that's how cats play together, so he's playing with your hand as if it were another kitten. Try getting a toy for him to play with, and give that to him after he starts up with your hand- to replace it.
As far as the bed... maybe put his bed in your bed... Later you're probably going to want him to sleep with you though. I wouldn't discourage it too much.

He's playful. He WILL nibble/bite/claw your hand. He's only playing. And good luck trying to get him to sleep in his own bed; I'm having the same problem, myself.
