There is this girl that I like, and she just got her drivers license soon. She always smiles at me in the hallways of school and says "hello" to me on occasion, and I think she may like me. Would it be creepy to her if I went up to her and said something like "Since you just got your license, I was wondering if we could go cruising?" Or, would lunch or something else be a better suggestion? Also, she hangs around her friends alot and would it be okay to ask her in front of her friends? I would feel a little awkward doing it in front of them, myself. Thank you for the advice!

Don't overthink it, just ask her if she wants to go out. I know it can be nervewrecking, but it's much better than saying "I was wondering if we could go cruising?"
