Maturity is associated to age and experience: Some teens enjoy the company of the more older and this helps them mature a lot earlier than teens their age.
Often education is a contributor to maturity and the more you read, the more you know, the more your confidence is boosted and thus maturity levels increase.
There really is no rush for maturity - childhood is easily the best time of your life and it is important to cherish the memories of adolescence.
Once you grow up - there is no turning back.
