Those "laws" aren't really laws. You cannot be tried for such an act- they're kept around for historic reasons.

It's strange because of how specific it is. Just try to imagine a lawyer defending someone, and saying it like that. If they were going to make a law about invading personal space, they could have said do not invade someone's personal space.
And don't you think it's just a little weird that that WAS a problem...?
