The aim is shit? That's called recoil, sir. The first shot on any automatic weapon in HL2 goes to the centre of the crosshair. Subsequent shots are spread around due tot he recoil. The Source engine is far and away the best FPS engine out there, even now.

And you seem as ignorant as most console gamers. Mods are 3rd party addons, not cheats. Some parts of the game are harder using SMOD vs playing standard, not a very good cheat.
no i had a discusion with the tard complaining about not being able to use mods for mw2 on pc when it comes out. if you cant play it as it came out then anything that is used to change how you play it is a cheat in my book with the clear exeption of patches and expansion packs.
Being some kind of gaming purist doesn't change that they aren't cheats.

How about mods that became retail products, are they still cheats? Why, because they add to costs? Counter Strike started as a HL1 mod, eventually became a retail product. Some great games start life as mods, there are millions of CS players that would most likely agree ( and Killing Floor fans, and many others. So we should get rid of an easy outlet for indie development? Or simple improvement because some people may not like specifically how the developer did something? There are also plenty of mods for games like Elder Scrolls Oblivion that give more places to adventure with harder places to fight. Why not expand the life of a product for free with mods like that? Or the multiple decent free maps and campaigns out for Left 4 Dead, expanding the short amount of play built in. Is that cheating? Adding maps is the same principle of modding, just not adding new weapons and interfaces and using it with all other settings stock. Typical console gamer ignorance about the usage of modding.

Amazing physics engine, perfect story (which does have a lot of team work down the road).

This topic makes me wish I had The Orange Box. :(
