i dont understand what my friend's problem is! we're seniors and have been close since 8th grade, we understand eachother. i remember she would tell me as advice "boyfriends are bad because when they're gone you have nothing" and i didn't have any so she scared me off. then finally a guy and i like eachother and she said aww thats cute you're giving him a chance and she said she texted his friend asking "so whats up with your friend and my friend?" i got pissed at her because i didn't ask her to do that, etc. and she said his friend likes me and wants to go out with me.. then now she's telling me shit like how we might break up.

IDK WHAT TO DO, i'm attached to my best friend

well it honestly sounds like she is jealous. She is afraid if you get a boyfriend she will lose you as a friend.
