Florence -3, Venice - 1. Don't get me wrong, Venice is gorgeous, but there's a hell of a lot more to do in Florence. Venice is more of a day trip kind of place. In my opinion, anyways.

Yeahh, Venice is gorgeous, but it's very small. Three days in Florence would make a lot more sense, & depending on when you'll be there you might catch some of the open air markets or check out the uffizi or somethingg.
