YES, Choose shared. Unless you have a WEP/WPA key enabled you choose shared. This is unsafe and you should consider adding some security but for now to access it just use Shared.
Shared is the default security (none) Unless you configure your modem/router to have some security like a WEP or WPA key it will not be secure.
