I still don't get what the big deal is on racism here in the United States. You go everywhere else and people are more concerned on where you come from rather than what your skin color is. In some countries, people are judged because of their political affiliations. I don't understand why the color of your skin is even an issue. I'm small and brown because thats who i am. I can't be called "of a pacific islander descent". Thats just crazy. I'm brown and small. Simple.

Precisely. I believe part of the reason is that the United States was plagued with many laws which were profoundly dependant on race. In many countries where this has been true, such as Rwanda, South Africa and others, such laws have done much to alter the social environment based on race and thus has made race a primary focus of a person's self-perception and his place those societies. In many countries of Europe, while racism is certainly present (in the past more in the form of anti-semitism), racial difference does not have the same connotations and implications as the US or similar countries with a history of building their society based on racial dfferences.

Racist people make me racist <br> In todays time you have to be black in order to get free money from the governemnt. Blacks have been getting free handouts since i can remember. Lets give them more free money because we feel sorry for them. Wheres my free handout. So because im white im expected to be sucessful? If i was Black right now i would have a free house a free cell phone a free car and free food and wouldnt even have to work. But if i did choose to work i could get a job almost anywhere i wanted and be a lazy pos and i cant get fired because im black. That is BS

i don't care what race you are ....my question is HOW ARE YOU GONNA TREAT ME?......i have a smile for everyone i meet.........and have a general respect for people....BUT when a person just is difficult to deal with and is clouded with stupid racial stuff.........i just walk away and say a prayer for them.......i ain't got time...for that kind of stuff......don't let nobody steal your joy.......GOD made all of us different....and so be glad who you are....and enjoy life....!
