Why? Sometimes banned members make legitimate topics, and just because they are banned for one reason does not mean all their topics fall under that reason.

So would you be okay then losing all of your posts that were in topics created by now banned members? Some users would be very upset to lose those points.

Either way, as someone else said, just because a user was banned doesn't mean they couldn't have had some valid, insightful, interesting and relevant topics that could be good to have around.

Now banned members still hold contributory topics, if we were to delete them a lot of points would be lost by members and, as RJ said, some members may not be as kind to that idea.
