hey guys i have a little problem most of the time these scholarship essays are a breeze but i have one more essay to do and im stuck, oh and its due on the 31 so im really freakin out....
the essay wants me to describe a concrete way that your ethnic or cultural background has shaped your life. should i make up something? should i write about family traditions ? what are they exaclty looking for in this type of essay? whats the key to this question if you know what i mean??

Never make up things, especially if it's for something like a scholarship. Chances are they won't know, but if you did happen to get it, and they did ask you questions; what would happen if you messed up and your answers were different from what was actually in the essay? The best thing I can say is this: Write about what you feel is necessary to go in the essay. I don't know what they're looking for, so I don't think it's fair to tell you what to write.
