yeah and the way to get out of a minimum wage position is to spend half your shift fucking off. i started an minimum wage too, when people see that you're putting in a full shift of hard work that quickly changes. I'm not driving a bmw, but $14/hour for a 17 year old isn't horrible.

I worked my ass off for 3 years and the only raise I got was when minimum wage changed. And I went from making 35 cents over min wage to exactly min wage. Fuck working hard.

the economy won't fail because I don't stock shelves the entire 8 hours I work here. I've done nothing but work my ass off here. 55 hour weeks while at school. I'm the best employee they have, and I'm a hard worker, but the night shift has done nothing to help out. He reads a newspaper the entire night.
