ITunes Wants My Credit Card Information

I'm trying to use my iTunes, but it keeps telling me that before I can do anything, I have to get an "apple ID."

Problem is, to get an Apple ID, I need to give out my credit card information. I don't really want to do that. Its my parent's credit card (I don't have one) and I don't think they will be too excited about it either.

Last night I bought a bunch of applications. ITunes is telling me that they can't be downloaded until I make that Apple ID. I'm afraid if I don't do it, I'll lose the money I spent on the apps.

Is there any way around this? Or am I just out of luck?

They won't charge you or anything, it's quite safe, and you can just let your parents know that there was no other way, and I'm sure they wouldn't be dicks about it. We could use our debit cards over here so I never really had a problem.

It is actually asking for me to put in credit card information in order to make a new account though.
I have to pick the type of card, put in the credit card number, etc.

There is no "gift card" option where I'm at right now.

I signed up for an account for my aunt and I cannot remember putting in a credit card number. I think I saw something with paypal which eventually allowed me to work around it.
