One particularly disturbing antidepressant withdrawal symptom is hallucinations. While working through the physical and emotional effects of Celexa withdrawl symptoms, hallucinations can make the sufferer feel as if they are going crazy. You are not going crazy. You unwittingly became hooked on a drug that your doctor, by prescribing it, told you was okay.

He rambles on and on and fucking on about how smoking weed is bad, yet Celexa not only has all of the above withdrawal symptoms that occur if I miss the medication for as little as eight hours PLUS all of these potential side effects:

   * Runny or irritated nose or sinus infections
   * Fatigue
   * Indigestion or heartburn

   * Erectile dysfunction (ER or impotence) (see Celexa Sexual Side Effects)
   * Painful menstrual cramps
   * Abdominal pain (stomach pain)
   * Fever

   * Yawning.

Yet marijuana has none. Fucking prick of a doctor.

I'm really upset about this. I'm really upset that I'm addicted to Celexa, and that even if I were to wean myself off of it slowly I would still experience these horrible side effects. The electric "zap" is the worst. If I miss my Celexa for ONE DAY, I have this horrible shock that goes through my body that leaves me lightheaded and makes me feel like falling to the ground.

I hate my doctor and I don't trust him. Why would he prescribe me something without warning me of this? How could he be so ignorant? Albeit, I should have done my research first BEFORE actually putting the damn pills in my mouth, but I trusted him...he's my psychiatrist...I trusted him.

I have zero trust for him now, and I feel at a loss. I hate SO MUCH that I'm stuck on this drug...I wish I could just be off it.

How could a doctor put me on something so dangerous? How can any doctors do it? They do it ALL THE TIME to millions and millions of people. It disturbs me. I am just upset by untrustworthy doctors in general right now, who don't give a shit what prescriptions actually do to you...they just want to get bonuses for helping the drug companies out. Fuckers.

I will next time I see him. I'm probably going to freak out at him. It may not be pretty. I've been polite to him and endured all of his bullshit so far, and he's been nothing but a lying asshole, thinking that he knows what's right for me when he has no idea.

and the listed side effects for drugs are normally not encountered by most patients. i mean have you seen the list on something like tylenol? yet for most people it never causes any problems. the list is there to educate patients and make them aware, very very few patients actually get more than a few of those symptoms, and if they do the doctor usually transfers them to another drug.
