It's terrible that you weren't informed of these things beforehand, but it's not a permanent thing... you would have to go through withdrawal for a certain amount of time, like any drug, and then the symptoms would go away.
Basically withdrawal is usually 48 hours to 10 days (for hard drugs) of hell.

I will next time I see him. I'm probably going to freak out at him. It may not be pretty. I've been polite to him and endured all of his bullshit so far, and he's been nothing but a lying asshole, thinking that he knows what's right for me when he has no idea.
Grr.

it's also your responsibility to learn about the side effects BEFOREHAND. your doctor didn't exactly shove it down your throat
Thanks for reading my topic so thoroughly.
Albeit, I should have done my research first BEFORE actually putting the damn pills in my mouth, but I trusted him...he's my psychiatrist...I trusted him.

doctor's aren't exactly responsible for the classification of drugs, saying he's a prick because he won't prescribe you marijuana is pretty ridiculous.
and the listed side effects for drugs are normally not encountered by most patients. i mean have you seen the list on something like tylenol? yet for most people it never causes any problems. the list is there to educate patients and make them aware, very very few patients actually get more than a few of those symptoms, and if they do the doctor usually transfers them to another drug.
Yes, because I fucking said that my doctor should prescribe me marijuana. Thank you for reading my topic so thoroughly.
I meant that it's ridiculous my doctor would praise this piece of shit legal prescription that does way more harm than smoking weed. OBVIOUSLY weed is illegal and OBVIOUSLY doctors should not advice patients to take illegal drugs. I am not a fucking moron. I do not live in a state that prescribes medical marijuana. I am saying that this doctor should not go out of his way to lecture me on how terrible marijuana is for me when it does no harm to me at all. It's like he's a hypocrite. Telling me not to smoke weed because he doesn't want me to harm myself and he cares, yet advising me to put something else in my body that makes me feel like shit if I don't take it for a few hours.

Maybe smoking some weed will help get rid of the side effects or withdrawal symptoms of your medication. Man the irony.

Haha, I love it! It's awesome that you posted this, because I actually figured this out last night. My friend and I were trying to think of the best way to wean me off of it, and realized that that's the only way.

I take celexa and it's just fine. I've gone 2 days without taking celexa...that stuff doesn't even happen. Celexa isn't a dangerous pill.

oh dear, that list is long... but is it that hard to remember to take it?
Also most people don't get all the side effects... if any at all....they just have to put them down...

Oh really, Miss Know-it-all? That's really strange that not only have these things happened to me, there are multiple websites that describe the withdrawal symptoms that people frequently get.
Can I please just ask you why I would lie about this shit? Perhaps you waste your time doing so, but I don't exactly go on online forums to fucking make shit up. Sorry, I have a life. I use this website for SUPPORT, dimwit. Do your research before you open your mouth.
