I know we are not allowed to link to sites with content which is deemed as being contrary to LW's Acceptability Standards.

But in the case of "scholarly" (yes, I know Wikipedia is as scholarly as a pre-kindergartener) article, is there any relaxing of this rule?

I guess even linking to Sex Ed. sites which although educational may contain "graphic" images of genitalia would come under this too.

If the link given in the LW post gives an "explicit material" warning, is it ok to link?

Yes. if you are linking to a sex-ed site in teen sex for the purposes of education you are more than welcome to.
An example would be the other day a member made a topic about female circumcision so we allowed them to post a medically labeled diagram of the vagina.
