Recently got my website http://BlurShiftMedia.co.cc on Google; Huzzah! I had no idea it was that easy. In any sense, now that I am driving more traffic to the site, does anyone have any suggestions for the site because I haven't gotten any offers yet regarding doing stuff for free.

Market your site. Add it to directories and whatnot. Put it in the signature of all the forums you frequent. Just generally try and get it out there as much as you can. Good luck
