I accidentally removed Opera as my default web browser a few days ago, and I want to add it back, but I don't know how (since there isn't an option to do so in the preferences area of Opera.  So, does anyone know how I can set Opera as my default web browser again?

Oh, I'm sorry, it is my default web browser.  What I mean is that I accidentally deleted the icon for Opera on Start.  I want it back (when I did it, I had been like "oh shit, now what do I do", but then I replaced it with a shortcut, but that isn't the same, and I want the button that should be there there).

I'm using Windows XP.
Check the link I posted:

1) Go to Tools > Preferences > Advanced > Programs
2) Tick the checkbox for "Check if Opera is default browser on startup".
3) Next time you start Opera, answer "Yes" when the dialog asks you if you want Opera to be the default browser on your computer.

Should be able to go to Program/Opera and then right click on the exe file -> Pin to Start Menu
