Okay, i have a learner's permit.
My Date of birth is written in tiny letters, but my name is written in HUGE ones. So i was messing around with a Zwipes pen thing [a pen with an eraser on the back] and instead of the year 1993, i covered the 3 and made it look like a 0.

So i was thinking, maybe i could try to see if an actual cashier would accept my ID, just for kicks.
[the learners permits here are exactly the same as licenses, except for the level]

So should i try to buy something that requires ID to see if the cashier would accept it?

fucking with your i.d. can be an issue if you get caught. so i'm told. chances are the person would just tell you no and get out, but i dunno, wouldn't really take that chance.

This is not only illegal, but absolutely fucking stupid. Any decent bouncer will easily notice the alteration and can confiscate your ID, and if their dicks can even pass it onto the police.

yeah, my thoughts exactly, but the thing is, i live in puerto rico, trust me its easy to get away with stuff like that, but i dont think ill do it

I guess it can't hurt. At a gas station around here the most they would do is give it back and tell you to get out. Hell, when I was 16 I looked old as shit so I would give them my ID all the time, rarely ever do they do more than glance at it.
