so guys I probably posted about this ages ago but meh

so, I was 'installing' (shoving) a Belkin wireless card into my PC because my wireless dongle (lol) was faulty. when I attempted to power up my PC, it turns on fine, but no graphic output, and won't power down when the power switch is held in (seriously I've tried it for like 7 minutes while crying).

motherboard? GPU? Processor?
atm I'm going for motherboard from static

Have you checked all of the connections to make sure nothing was loose?

Get someone else to check them, I've made that mistake 800 times, when I look at the wires, and then someone comes in and sees the problem in 3 seconds.

I've also had problems with the power supply acting up and cause similar problems, however the screen would flash instead of staying black.

Yea, i'm leaning towards your PCI slots have been blown, or shorted... is it a diffrent Graphics card or is it the default one? If its the default one, i have no idea what-so-ever what is going on unless its actually effected your motherbord, if its a new graphics card (not standard) then try the default one, it has a high chance of working after this.
