Maybe she's book smart, I don't know. But it doesn't really show. At all.

I'm just really hoping she doesn't get on my nerves. She doesn't seem to be at all open minded.

I know I might be judging a little too quickly, but I can't help it. I can't help but think that she is completely fucking stupid. Everything she is says and the way she says it. Magod.

Of course I'm going to give her a chance. If you actually knew me, I'm incredibly nice and I like to help in any way that I can. So we'll see. We all meet in a week.

just because someone has been sheltered doesn't make them an idiot. naive, maybe, but not an idiot.  
i'm sure she's a perfectly sweet girl and if you'd get to know her you'd see that.. you're being very closed minded going in assuming that she's stupid simply because she comes from a small town in oklahoma and seems to have been over-protected.  
all that means is she's probably really shy and nervous about college.
