It's more stable, drastically cuts down on the appearance of the "Blue Screen of Death".

Hahaa!!! LOL!!!!

Oh my God, that made me laugh hard!!

Windows sucks! The only thing worth doing is trashing your PC and getting a Mac... or installing some form of Unix/Linux on your PC.

Have you ever used it? If yes, then you are a moron for posting what is usually a lie but wise for posting your experience

If no, then you are a jackass for talking about that which you have not experienced but wise for posting what is logically true - realistically not true

the media center edition is basically worthless unless you have a media center style PC. All it does is have drivers for remotes(and other like objects), better DVD support, and suited for media functionabiliy (hook-up to LCD TV as a sweet dvd player)

If you don't have the remote - I have only seen it for sale at best buy once - and it was a returned item. I dont know if they still sell it or not. If you really want one, they probably still sell them - i have not been anywhere in a while, so i cant say.

Pardon the stupidity, it was a post from last year when I clearly had no idea what I was talking about.

My dad recently received a free upgrade from his work with the new XP Media Center Edition. Other than the prettier looks, what's so good about it?

Is it worth installing?

Unless you're an audiophile or have an obession with digital cameras and home theater, no.
