I'm forgetting about the iPod and going for a small TV/DVD combo flat screen for my dorm (because as of right now I don't have a TV in there and it's super boring...).

So, I'm planning on stopping at Best Buy tomorrow before I head back to school.  Which one should I go for (because these are the ones listed as being in the store, and not online-only availability).

Insignia® - 19" Class / 720p / 60Hz / LCD HDTV DVD Combo for $230

OR

Dynex® - 19" Class / 720p / 60Hz / LCD HDTV DVD Combo for $220

Have you considered looking at Insignia's and Dynex's customer service ratings? That's important, imo.

I did read them, but I was still a bit uncertain.  I've never heard of Dynex before, to be honest, and Insignia has been said to be pretty okay.

But I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to electronics.  I'll get more opinions before I actually buy, but I was hoping someone on here with experience with TVs might enlighten me a bit.

Looks like most voters just jumped to price though...

Well, they have the exact same specs (the ones you've shown) so I don't think you'll be missing out on much of one if you go with the other.  I looked at the features and they also appear to be the same.  It could just be a marketing thing, you know?
