Apple programs (except Shake) don't require a 2+ button mouse, so why ship one?

Apple has always supported multi-button mice, but you don't NEED one so they don't ship them. They also don't ship (standardly) 32 input and 32 output audio devices, but they support them. I don't see why this is an issue. Apple doesn't have to make every periphrial device to support it.

I'm still fine with ctrl-click personally.

Ever since my parents got an iMac, I find myself trying to Ctrl+click when on my PC.

I don't care so much about the right click, but that scroll ball would rule all kinds of ass.
