I am confused. I'm gonna go to college this fall. I have testing I have to do this Wednesday, and then I go meet with a counselor. I'm just wondering how am I suppose to get loans? Does the school help me with that or do I just go to the bank and be like "hey I need a student loan"? I don't get any grants from that Fafsa shit.

Ask the counselor. They should be able to tell you if there is a program through your college or if you need to go to the bank.

Depends on the school. Some offer loans through the school. Ask your counselor.

your schools financial aid office will help you with that. give them a call and make an appointment to go in. they can help you figure out how much you need, and where you can get it from.

Since you don't get anything from FAFSA the easiest place to get a loan would be from the bank that your parents bank at.
Talk to your counselor about it. If they tell you to go to Fannie Mae or Sallie Mae or whatever the hell that one is, don't. They'll bend you over and fuck you so hard you'll wish you never went to college.

If I have to got to the bank myself, then I will go to my bank (Chase). I know they have student loans.

Well, the problem is that it's highly unlikely that they'll consider you fit to sign for loans by yourself, so you'll have to have an adult with a full-time job as a co-signer. AKA probably your parents.

A co-signer would be easy to get. I'm just worried I'm not going to be able to get the money in time.

Not gonna lie, even if you go to the bank tomorrow there's a very slim chance you'll get the money in time. However you should get it in about 6 weeks and if you talk to the counselor about that they might explain that you have some leeway depending on what kind of retainers you've paid.
