Probably so, depending upon your status. If you're above a Sophomore, I can almost guarantee your teachers will go right into the teaching, and you'll probalby need the texts.

Most places you should be fine. I don't know how it is at your school though. We do book rental here... and most classes don't use the books, at least not til the 3rd week or so.
