okay, so i'm a hypochondriac. i have a therapist and all that, and i also suffer from some ocd but yeah. i'm not allowed to watch medical shows (trauma in the er, life in the er, etc) because i end up freaking myself out.

i'm constantly terrified im diabetic or anemic, or im bleeding internally, or that i could have a leak in my brain, and could die at any minute. any rash bump or cut or scrape i immedietly freak out and think im going to die, its bad. its gotten BETTER, but yeah.

lately I've been terrified I'm diabetic, and I really want to go get my blood tested, but my mom says no. does she have any right to deny me the chance to get tested?

Yes, she's your mother.
And unless you're 18 you pretty much gotta do what she says.

but what if I end up having a seizure and dying or going into a coma if my blood sugar gets low, and I really AM diabetic?

I really dont know if she can deny you the right to see a doctor. Ask your friendly hospital for advice? Give them a call maybe?

People ask you for criticism, but they only want praise.

She's your mother, she watches your diet, she knows what you do, she knows what you eat, she knows the odds of you having diabetes are very very slim, and if she's even somewhat of a responsible mother, if she thought there was a small chance, she'd let you get tested.
