Erm, sorry, but scars are permanent. Nothing you can do about it =/ They'll fade a little over time but they'll never disappear. There might be some sort of cream to reduce their appearance but that's about it. Sorry.

Don't listen to them. Yes, you did do this, but there is no sense in blaming yourself. It won't get you anywhere or help in your recovery. The best thing you can do is get something like Mederma. It works pretty well. The other thing you can do is live with it. You know that you've stopped, so don't let hold you back anymore. Be proud of what you have gone though and overcome. Everything we've ever done, said or seen is part of us, it's what you do with it that counts.
