I decided to take two classes of the same category - as in the same general ed area - to see which one I liked better. I was gonna drop the class i liked the least but I turned out liking both of them and today is the last day to drop. They're both classes that must be taken for two consecutive semesters. One's history/poli sci and it's more focused on American history and the other is more focused on Asian American History. I really like the professors in the history/poli sci class and I like the general mood, and the time. However it is a little more intensive than the Asian American class. The Asian American class is way easier. The professors are just OK to me and the class seems easy. I'm not too fond of the general mood of the people in the class. Also, it is right before my Biology class (where we have to use a clicker system and have to be in there basically right when class is supposed to start) which is kinda far but I have a 15 minutes to get there (takes me 10). So far the Asian class has been getting out on time but I'm afraid of the long run. Right now, both classes are in part 1 of 2. I would really like to learn more about Asian American history, but that's for next semester. Right now in part 1 we're learning general history and it's not taught as interestingly as the History class. But Part 2 of the history class will talk more about American government, which didn't really interest me before. Also the history essays seem more interesting than the Asian American class but there's more tests (multiple choice). That was really long but I'm completely torn between the two. I can't sleep. It would be greatly appreciated if anyone could put in their opinion and help me decide. Thanks!
