The problem with HIV is a part of the virus can not be changed.  They're coming out with ways to detroy that part.  I think they're close to finding the way.

It's impossible to isolate the virus's DNA because it is constantly changing.  Because of the fact the DNA is constantly being restructured, the development of the virus can't be countered.

Umm not really.

Much of the virus' DNA is changing from generation to generation, but they have recently discovered a single piece of the puzzle which remains constant and gives the disease its infectious ability.  It's possible that a cure may come out of this discovery, but it's also possible that it wont.
