And that will be the death of us.

I was thinking about this after I read that on the new season of America's Next Top Model, there will be a transgendered boy (who is now a girl) in the competition.

I have nothing against these people, but it made me think, where does America draw the line? When is something unacceptable?

We even make excuses for those who go postal and go on killing sprees. "It's because they were lonely" or "It's because he was an outcast".

Where is the line drawn in America? Can anyone name something in America that is truly considered unacceptable, and doesn't have 50 "Pro-whatever" people arguing for it?

You're comparing being transexual to being a mass murderer? For as much as I'm creeped out by trannies, that's just stupid.

You have no problem with them, yet you end up making this topic, and asking yourself those questions?

Seems quite hypocritical.

Exactly.

Having a sense of compassion for other human beings doesn't either.

duh.

Re-read that. I wasn't comparing them directly.

That wasn't the point of this post. The point was, America keeps drawing the line further and further. Everything is "acceptable". Why is that?

I think that it is good that people in america are so open minded and not critical to people like that. Even to people in other situations.
There are some wuidlines to what is acceptable though, gay marriage is still a controversey.

There is a very big difference between saying "there was a reason this person snapped and went on a killing spree" and saying "hey, killings sprees, no big deal right?".
