What about if you have a disease that is gonna eat away at you until you're a vegetable?
I would commit suicide before that point, I don't wanna be a burden to the ones I love, and I'd rather they remembered me as happy and active, rather than bed-bound.

Suicide is never the right thing to do, and I doubt that anyone on here would support someone if they ever decided to off themselves, but it's a matter of personal choice in the end. Yes, chances are most of the problems that you're dealing with will solve themselves eventually, but who's to say when eventually is? It isn't anyone's choice but our own to decide when the cost of living outweighs the benefit, and thus it's not anyone's choice but our own to say when suicide is the answer.
Of course, this only would really work if the decision was made after long and careful consideration, but that doesn't always happen.
