I just want to know why people are so quick to judge.  I am soon to be 16, a virgin, and have never screwed up really bad.  I have had what my friends and i call "baby on the brain" for the past 3 years.  I know that it is just an instinct and that it can at times be over powerful and make you confused.  But, I have this gut feeling that I really am meant to be a young mom.  And I know I need to wait, I am only a junior, I have all of my college experience to get through.  I need a job and money and most of all i need a stable relationship where the baby will have two loving parents.  Its just that you see a tiny little baby and all you think about is having one and it loving you.  But me, I think about the sleepless nights, the loss of friends, the stretching of a dollar and then i see the smile on that little face and it makes it seem like everything that I had to do and give up is so worth it.  I don't know... anyone else think like that?

Well I can tell you that you aren't ready to be a young mom because you said that it would "love you" switch that mindframe around and then you're ready.

I've felt that way before. Like, "I think I would be a good Mom." But I know I have to wait if I want to give my child everything he/she deserves.

Tons of women feel like that. That's "babyfever".

People are judgmental because it's stupid and selfish to actually aspire to being a teenage mum. ;-)

I'm the same way.  Like you, I also realize it's a bad decision...that doesn't stop the feeling though.  Stupid instincts.

You dislike them for what they think?

She didn't say she was going to get pregnant, she just said she gets a longing for a baby.

Because people don't want their hard-earned tax dollars to go towards supporting someone else's baby that they can't even support themselves.  That is a very big reason, and there are other reasons as well.

That's so odd to me, because I was 100% unlike you. Haha. Up until recently I NEVER wanted kids, like ever, not at all. It's always so odd to me to hear these other girls say how excited they are to finally be able to have kids one day. Lol.

Funny how life isn't even nearly the same for some people.
