Ok i have a 1986 chevy monte carlo SS with a 770 CFM holley street avenger electric choke carb, and it idles at 500 rpm, My car died twice in the parking lot when i jsut went to the store Why is it stalling?!? and its automatic its like if you dont let it dift first... it just shuts off... :( im gonna get killed!

make sure the battery has a strong charge. My car will turn over then shut off sometimes seconds after turning over. but I don't know :|

check your idle adjustment screw. sounds to me like it's just idling too low.
