I had a rough evening. I came to our apartment and went straight to the bathroom. My roommates were in the living room but I knew there wasn't any point on trying to carry on an intelligent conversation with them. I wasn't too bad though. I walked to the right apartment and got here on my own power. I didn't fall down or anything,
I woke up early and made sure the bathroom was spotless before going to my bed. But this morning the roommates are pissed! We have two bathrooms in our apartment. It's just this one was connected to my one roommate's and my room.I could see why my actual roommate was annoyed since all her stuff was in the bathroom. There's four girls here total.
It's not like I was stupid about it: I'm 21, I was with a group of friends for one of their birthdays, one of the people I was with was my brother and he had to work early today so he was hardly drinking. He made sure I got home safely and kept an eye on me the entire evening. What should I do about the roommates? I already apologized and they just glared at me. None of them are 21 except me so this bar scene hasn't happened to them.

Just give them time to get over it, and when their day comes that they come home drunk and puking in the bathroom, give it back tenfold. And when they bitch at you for being a bitch about it, tell them paybacks a bitch so get the fuck over it.

I would just tell them what you told me.
I had a friend back in high school that felt getting drunk should rarely happen. Maybe once on your 21st birthday or something. But then she thought that it was bad.
As long as you drink responsibly, I have no problem with it... And honestly, I would just ask your friend's exactly WHY they are annoyed.
Because you haven't stated why they are glaring at you. Is it because you were drinking? Is it because you came home late and disturbed people? Is it only because you used the bathroom? (and it's just as much yours as it is theirs) And then talk to them and see if you have to set out some kind of "rule". And I would make sure to let them know that you feel you didn't do anything wrong, that you drank within your limits, and you made sure to clean up... and that they should not have a problem with something in YOUR personal life if it is not affecting theirs.
Why are they mad? Its not like you threw up everywhere.
