Out of the two evils, Obama or McCain I have chosen to be more for McCain. A big reason is taxes. On Obama's website it says he will lower income taxes, when he actually will raise them in another area. So that's like giving you money with one hand and taking it back with his other. He would raise taxes on investments. That's really bad because a lot of older people and some younger need that income to pay there bills since they don't make enough at their job or to be able to be retired. There would be a lot more unemployment if people who would be retired are looking for jobs to survive while people of other ages need them too.

I sort of can't believe I am more for McCain but I am.  What about you?

I think in times like this, we need Obama. Mainly because of the war and the state of our economy.

McCain, I agree that his experience is underrated.  Many people I know do not know anything about Obama's policies or stance on issues.  They are just voting for him because they "like him." But how can you genuinely like someone and consider voting for them when you dont know anything about them?

America needs to change and be socialist not with a democrat or republican president.  That would really help to end the wars and the bad economy.

a.) No, we don't. b.) Even if it would work, it would never happen. c.) The closest thing you can get to ending the war and the bad economy is Obama. McCain won't even acknowledge that the economy is bad and he says he "it doesn't matter if we stay in Iraq for 10,000 year."

They are so close on so many issues it isn't funny.  McCain wants a standard 35% tax on the highest bracket and Obama wants a 39.5.  Is that really the choice American's face a freaking 4% difference?

Yeah Obama's economic policies are duplicitous saying increased taxes on the produces and investors (and today almost everyone invests) is simply going to move jobs and investments out of the nation - all the while hes shifting taxation burdens so that the taxes on the poor are going to go up (along with everyone else's) it just won't be your payroll tax.

How do you expect increased tax burdens on producers will encourage them to produce within the nation instead of move outside the nation where the tax burden will be less?

How do you expect individuals to save via investment in us businesses if after risking their money (because you can and will lose money in the stock market) they are taxed at 20% additional to income tax IF they happen to make any money?

Obama doesn't know anything about the economy.  He thinks he can force multinationals to stay in the US - hes dreaming thats why they are called MULTI national.

Wow really? 20% more? That's ridiculous!

McCain just cares about the war. I highly doubt that he's gonna worry about the economy if he gets elected. All he wants 2 go is b in the Middle East.
