I'm 18 years old and never had this feeling like I do now.  I feel like I'm literally insane and very emotional.  It started about a week ago, a week before my period.  I'm thinking it's PMS but I've never really had PMS like I am right now.  Is it probably that, can it just spring on even if you've never had it before?  Or is it something else?

Sometimes yeah...or maybe it has to do with a medication you're taking.  Did you start on any kind of hormonal birth control recently?
