We're having air problems.

Well, we report it my suitemate, and I.

They send Mr. Doodly (name not real, lol) up, and he puts the a.c. on 'on'. That runs it, 100% of the time. Now, our problem, at that day, was that it was 'making popcorn'. Or, freezing over. Now, my cat could tell you putting it on 'on' would further freeze it over.

So, Mr. D's next solution is to replace the thermostat.

With an old thermostat.

That doesn't read properly.

So, I give him the benefit of the doubt, and ask him waht's wrong with it. He says, "Oh, it's the thermostat. It's not going to read properly. It's a dummy needle."

My face looked like this: O_o

Isn't the point of the thermostat's needle to measure the air required/needed to run? Yeah, I thought so.

So, I reported this guy.

And, of course, now we're having more troubles, and, being it's the weekend, they won't do anything, unless it's 85 degrees F outside. It's 83.

And even if I pull my 'asthma card', they won't do anything. So much for 'emergency housing'. :/ :S

I'm sick of this.

They break their own a.c.'s by their own stupidity! Gee, wonder why they're all having trouble!

Gods!

I couldn't really understand your entire topic. There were excessive line breaks that didn't help as well.

"Now, our problem, at that day, was that it was 'making popcorn'."
"Isn't the point of the thermostat's needle to measure the air required/needed to run?"
"they won't do anything, unless it's 85 degrees F outside.

What does that all even mean? I'm guessing it's too cold or something.

I would suggest breaking it yourself and forcing them to fix it. Maybe just put tape over the AC vents, to stop the cold airflow, and then hit the thermostat with a hammer. Problem solved.

It means that the air condition froze up, over the weekend, due to the maintenance guy's error. And it's not warm enough outside for them to do anything about it. It's two degrees cooler. :S

And I can't get into it to fix it. It's locked up.

Oh, that's pretty stupid. In my experience, if you kick something enough times, things will be resolved.*

Haha, if I could kick it, I would, trust me.

;)

I figure they have it closed b/c, at one point, or another, some idiot would break it, in terms of NOT fixing it. :P
We had someone beat it up, last semester/summer. They broke into the room, and beat it up.

Oy!
