My work knows about this. They know that I get frequent attacks, and they know that I have taken the painful time out of my day even to work through the pain. But I just can't do it today.
If I take the medicine for it, I can't work.

The problem is, I can't give a doctor's note, and my job requires it the first day out.
I can't get it because my mom lost my insurance card, and the clinic won't see me without it.

If I call-in and explain this to them, should I be okay, considering they know my history with this and how much pain I have to go through?

Plenty of time to answer and help me out here. I don't go in until 11. But I need to call before 7-8.

Anyway, I called, and he's not there yet. But my department manager was.

So I should be getting a call here shortly.

I hope they don't expect me to go to the hospital. Because that's a lot of fucking bullshit to go through for a god damn note.

Can't I just go to the clinic, since they see me for this so much anyway, and ask for a note? Shit.
