wait untill you finish the packet, then just switch over. Double check theyre the same kind of pill ie. that they work in the same way, and you will be fine. To be extra safe u should use another form of contraception for the recommended time in the instructions of the new kind of pill. If you are still worried, call your doctor in the morning and check with them what is the best thing to do.

I would just wait until the morning, and then call your doctor. It's not good to switch medicines like that. You might need to wait a specific period of time before starting a new one so you don't fuck up your body. Don't have sex until you know. Just wait it out, and then talk to your doctor. It's the best thing to do.

You're going to have to talk to your doctor and seeing as how it's late, you're just going to have to wait. This isn't something that needs dealt with tonight anyways. If you want to know so badly so you can have sex or something, you'll have to hold off. You couldn't even switch without your doctor's approval anyways, could you? He/She has to prescribe the BC...unless you have leftovers from another BC...which would beg the question of, "Would they still be good?"...
The only reason I want to switch it because I'd rather be on Seasonique, but I was given the regular stuff. But no, this isn't anything to do with sex. I'm on this mainly for the pain I get during my periods. I have been put in the hospital because it is so bad. And dealing with it every month is becoming an extreme hassle. Overall, it would be easier for me to have fewer periods, rather than just short ones. The birth control didn't help with my cramps before, so I don't expect it to now. But I do intend to give him a call about it. He kind of sprung them on me as I was walking out the door. Didn't give me a physical even. I get that in a month. I was just told to take them and it would be fine.

Oh, I know what you mean, my periods are incredibly painful as well. That's why I've been on Depo, it stops them completely. I haven't had a shot since about March and I still haven't had a period. I'm due for another (overdue actually) but had a bit of trouble getting one before leaving for school. I went for one and was told that I was overdue and needed to take not one but two pregnancy tests before they'd give it to me. I tried explaining to her that it was for period control and not for actual birth control (and that my boyfriend is 3,000 miles away and I haven't seen him since January!) and she almost let up but she decided to stick with what I feel is one of the dumbest fucking rules I've ever heard of. "Now, if you go for two weeks without having intercourse and pass the second test, we'll give it to you." How the fuck would they know if I had intercourse with someone like right before coming in? As long as I'm not pregnant and my test doesn't indicate that I was knocked up VERY recently, they would never know. They'd give me the shot and, "OH NOES!!! SHE WAS PREGGO!!!" Ooops! Meh... </mini rant>
