So Im an ace shot. Im fucking unreal when Im given a gun. Shooting accurately is just something Im very good at.

I got on the army shooting team.

I went to the Uni's air rifle range, and I expected it to be a piece of piss. I turn up, they give me a rifle and bang, bang, bang I hit the target well. Im not as accurate as I usually would be because its a completely different type of shooting and gun. There's a completely different technique. But I impressed all the coaches.

2nd time I went I got all flustered because the gas in the gun had gone out and I thought I was missing, then they fixed that and I was still missing - the sight was out. So when everything was fixed i didn't shoot well, because I was so flustered.

3rd time, today. I shot the highest score 3 times, which hardly anyone gets, and then after that it started going down hill. My shots weren't getting the high scoring part of the target.

I just cant understand how Im not actually the best there and its putting me under pressure. I fully expected to storm that club, and I suppose I have. But I want to be the best. I should be the best.

And because they know about my army experience they all seem to think I know more about shooting than them, but this is a completely different ball game.

Sure I must look good, but the bad bits stand out.

I once shot a .357 Magnum.  Can't say I came close to the target.

Its about repetition and muscle memory. Same grip, same squeeze, same breathing pattern. Depending on how hardcore you want to get about it there are dozens of things you can do to help improve your accuracy.

The bad news is, playing around with air rifles isn't the best way to impress anyone. Just for giggles, what distance are you shooting from? Open sight, or with optics?

Shush. 500m is barely respectable. When your in the 1000yrd club, let me know. Which obviously isnt going to happen anytime soon with that attitude/skill set.

Your an asshat in a half assed army. Come spend a few weeks in iraq with some real soldiers and then talk to me about how hard you competition shooting is.

Even though you got such great training you still manage to suck with an air rifle. And you get flustered. What kind of soldier gets flustered? your a fucktard.

Your a tool. I've been shooting all my life, and I'm actually part of a *real* army. On top of which I've spent my fair share of time exercising those shooting skills in much more difficult situations than an air rifle range.

I was just trying to give you some pointers to not suck with the toy guns so your military can stop looking like such a joke, but whatever.

i dont think you read anything I wrote.

And saying the RoI army isnt real, shows your complete lack of knowledge of what is happening in the world.

I would be giving you lessons. Statistically I am the 6th best in my Brigade so fuck you.

Statistically speaking, I'd be more than happy to outshoot you all day, night and any other times you find in between.

Toy Guns? Steyer AUGs are the Irish standard issue, and steyers are decent and respected rifles. So don't be insulting our fucking rifles.
And calling the Irish army a joke? Are you retarded? The only reason we don't participate in fighting in wazones, is because our country is neutral, and only sends troops on peace-keeping missions.
Lol, reffering to Iraq, does that make you think your cool? Oh wow, we're over fighting the Taliban, in a god forsaken country, which we have no point in being in. Christ, your army has made so many fuck ups they're one of the biggest jokes in the world.

Way to fail. Taliban in iraq? Seriously? Fail.

I was refering to the air rifles as toy guns, not the AUG. Although, it makes you wonder why they have to put optics on the standard rifle if he's such a great shot....

Ireland has a standing army of what? 8500? Seriously. That's just about enough troops to circle jerk. Go play peacekeeper, and stop pretending to play soldier.

Optics, guess what the mag of the optics is.

14,000, dont talk about what you dont know. And on the UN peace keeping rankings the Irish Army stands at Number One. And not only that but it is far clearer that the British army is doing a better job that the US over there.

The rest of the world sees your army as the unprofessional, lazy and dangerous army that it is.
