What is the point of the serious forum? I mean, it's essentially the same thing as eHelp--only SL's can reply, you can mark it as anonymous, and on eHelp you can choose to share it. There really isn't a difference. So why is it there?

I am not quite sure. I think they should just scrap the forum.

The forum was there a couple of years ago and everyone had a fit when David removed it. It encourages discussion more than in eHelp and problems that would be considered less of an emergency could be put in there.

Funny, everyone had a fit when it was removed, everyone demanded it back, we got it back, and everyone complains. Fun fun.

It doesn't really hold a purpose now we have eHelp. It should be one or the other, not both.

The only difference I see is that with the Serious Forum, we can get replies back from the member. I don't know about other SLs, but sometimes I'd like to keep in contact with some members and sometimes I'd like to message them if they give me a written feedback. If there was a way that could happen with the e-Help system, that would be awesome. Also if that was to happen, I'd say get rid of the Serious Forum. But would that others demand it back once again? Oh and guests can't post in the serious forum. There is another difference.

II think its pretty much there for nostalgic purposes. When I joined LW, thats all we had. I remember making my very first Support leader post there.
