I am not proud to be an American. I hardly like anything about it. I don't like the school system, the political system, the culture, the economy, the religions... I've got two years left to go, and if I don't get to CMU, you can bet I'm going to college in another country. So the question is, what country would be best suited for me? I'm taking German classes, but I'm not sure that I'd like Germany or Switzerland or the like. I want to live in a country with a strong middle class, good education and health care systems, a strong reputation among other countries, and little political disagreement. It would also be preferable if it had a proud, sophisticated culture with less emphasis on religion. Does anything like that exist?

os slovenia, which performs like a baltic country but in the middle of the mediterranean...
if you desperately want a german speaking, then austria.
i wouls say "switzerland" only if you want to be in banking....

I take it you think he means the state? You do REALISE that there is also a country called Georgia.
No shit there is a country called Georgia, but considering he lives in the state Georgia, it makes me think he meant the state.
