Not always. Besides, its at the very least courteous to use decent grammar and spelling.
I've been on here since 2006 and I have not run into too many people that spell so atrociously that I could not understand them. The courteous thing to do is to be relevant to the topic and not criticize a person's grammar. I got messaged by a guy who was mad at me and said that I didn't put a period on one of my sentences and that I didn't put an apostrophe on "shouldn't". So is it really THAT serious?
