Not much of a joke... and they kill themselves in hopes to take as many lives as possible along with them. Kind of like jumping off a cliff by grabbing as many people to go with you on your long journey down.

Mathematically, it does.

X = the amount of people 'we' have.
X1 = the growth rate of 'us'.

Y = the amount of people 'they' have.
Y1 = the growth rate of 'them'.

Q = mystery explosion multiplier!

Let it be known that X > Y, but Y1 > X1.
Let it be known that 1 =< Q < 1000.

The formula for "is this a threat" (as taken from my high school geometry class) is as follows:

IF (X ^ X1) - Q(Y ^ Y1) < 0 THEN you're fucking screwed.
