Some of my friends have been bragging that they will be getting drunk, stoned etc. If I ever mention straight edge, they look down on me for staying sober! It pissed me off SO much.

The only reason that they say stuff like that is because they think it's fun to them, so they want you to have fun too. But it's likely that if you don't want to do it, it will ruin your experience so be true to what you believe.  :D
