I'm currently taking a hair and aesthetics course and absolutely love it. My teacher worked at a hair salon for 10 years and told me all about it. I've also researched a bit and decided that I might want to become a hairstylist.
I told my mom today and both her and my dad FLIPPED out on me. They started making fun of me and told me that I was too stupid for any other job anyway. They think hairstylists have the crappiest jobs and get paid 8 bucks an hour. She is making me look like a retard that isn't capable of even doing simple math. She even called me an ungrateful bitch because they "brought me to Canada to become something big" and I chose to be a hairstylist.
Honestly, do they get paid that little? Or is my mom just over reacting?
I can't wait to move out of this hell hole.
